dr Tomasz Geodecki
Assistant Professor
Graduate of Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie.
From the third year of studies, he has been associated with the Department of Public Economy and Administration
(currently the Department of Public Policies).
In 2010, he defended his doctoral thesis on the effectiveness of innovation policy.
He conducts classes on the analysis of public policies, innovation policy and institutional economics
as components of broadly understood development economics,
focusing on the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
Author of publications in the field of public finance, innovation and industrial policy.
Graduate of postgraduate studies Master of Public Administration (2004).
He completed research internships at the Warsaw School of Economics (2018/19)
and the Vienna Institute for International Economic Comparison (wiiw) (2021/22).
Actively participates in projects financed from national and EU funds,
especially in evaluation studies of public programs.
