Dean of the College of Public Economy and Administration at the Krakow University of Economics (2020-2024), director of the Institute of Public Policy and Administration at the College of Public Economy and Administration (2019-2020), Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Urban and Regional Development (since 2018), director of the Małopolska School of Public Administration at the KUE (2005-2008), thematic editor of the quarterly “Zarządzanie Publiczne/Public Governance” (since 2015).
He specializes in the issues of public management and governance, public policy and public administration. Author and co-author of over 150 publications on this subject, including: Navigating Globotics at the Semi-periphery. Report on the State of Territorial Self-Government in Poland (MSAP UEK, Kraków 2013), New Public Management (PWE, Warsaw 2011).
Participant in over 80 research and implementation projects carried out in cooperation with domestic and foreign institutions. Author and co-author of 150 analyses, reports, programs and other expert studies commissioned by various public institutions.
He teaches in the field of public management and governance and public policy.
He was repeatedly honored with the University Rector’s awards for scientific and organizational achievements.
