Assistant, a graduate in history from the Higher Pedagogical School in Krakow, earned a doctorate from National Louis University in Chicago, USA, completed postgraduate studies in “Legal and Financial Aspects of Ownership Supervision” at the Higher School of Business – National Louis University in Nowy Sącz, and “Contemporary Concepts of Enterprise Management” at the University of Economics in Krakow.

For many years, he worked at WSB-NLU in Nowy Sącz, where he held various positions, including the role of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Political Studies. Currently, he also serves as the Vice President of the Board for Strategy and Development at Sądeckie Wodociągi Sp. z o.o. He is the Vice Chairman of the Team for Updating the Development Strategy of Nowy Sącz 2020+ and currently serves as the coordinator of the “Smart City” Key Program.

He is an author and expert in numerous development projects in the Małopolskie and Podkarpackie regions, involving local government institutions, non-governmental organizations, and companies. He specializes in the management of infrastructure projects co-financed by European Union funds. His research interests are related to the functioning of public services, municipal economy, strategic management in the economy and public administration, and external funding acquisition. He has been awarded the Silver Cross of Merit for promoting Polish culture in Chicago.
