In the Art Helps project, there is a chance to win a signed photograph by Wojciech Plewiński

In the next edition of the Sztuka Pomaga (Art Helps) project, organized by the Department of Public Economy, a signed photograph by Wojciech Plewiński will be raffled among the donors who make any donation to support the victims of the earthquake in Syria. Donations can be made through the Polish Humanitarian Action website link, and participants need to register in order to participate in the draw.

Wojciech Plewiński worked for 40 years at the weekly magazine “Przekrój,” starting in 1957, where he photographed fashion, portraits, landscapes, and prepared reports. He has over 500 covers of “Przekrój” to his name, featuring portraits of women that have become a trademark of the magazine. The photograph available for the draw is a signed enlargement from 1971, depicting the kindest female student in the courtyard of the Collegium Maius at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. More information about this outstanding Polish photographer can be found on the website presenting profiles of the Art Helps project donors.
