Director of the Małopolska School of Public Administration, Krakow University of Economics (2014‒2016 and from 2020). Guest lecturer at universities in Graz (Austria), Sankt Gallen (Switzerland) and Yerevan (Armenia).
Research interests: public policy (in particular innovation policy and territorial policy), modes of governance (public governance, neo-Weberian state), reforms in Central and Eastern Europe. Expert in numerous projects and the author and co‒author of several dozen of publications in this fields. Recently he has participated in the projects: “Developing Innovative Sustainable Cooperation Opportunities” (DISCO) on start-up’s support (European Institute of Innovation&Technology), “Decentralisation Offering Better Results and Efficiency” (“DOBRE”) on decentralisation reforms in Ukraine (USAID) and “GOSPOSTRATEG‒otoGOZ” on developing a system of indicators concerning circular economy (Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, Poland).
